I've enjoyed working with a number of incredible artists over the years, and have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player as requested. One of my favourite concerts in recent memory was at the Hong Kong Next Generation Arts Festival in 2021, featuring Jing Wang, the concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic. Many thanks to HKGNA founder Michelle Kim and her team for inviting me to play.

My good friend Andrea Yang is a fantastic career coach and attorney, and interviewed me as part of her "Career & Life Chats" series in 2021. From human rights attorneys to New York Times bestselling authors, Andrea featured lawyers who led fulfilled lives and asked them the question: "what makes a meaningful life?" Grateful to have been included.

Some of my most rewarding experiences have come from playing with schools, charities, and organisations who are dedicated to helping their communities in some way. When our missions align, there's always the potential to create something of impact for the people we wish to serve, and this collaboration is a beautiful example of that. Many, many thanks to my great friend Sheeta Ng and to WeWah Music for bringing me on board.

During the pandemic, I arranged music for cello ensembles and performed them online to bring some cheer and respite during a tough time for everyone. Each piece was chosen for the events we all endured, so it was an honour to know my playing touched and made a difference to the many people who wrote in from around the world.

It is so much fun to collaborate with talented artists who come from genres such as indie, jazz, rock, and the like, and it is always such a joy to play with Phildel! A brilliantly talented singer songwriter who draws deeply from her experiences, Phildel's musicality and vulnerability always takes my breath away. I enjoy the quest for perfection and connection that comes with recording tracks, so am always excited to jam with singers and bands.

Being asked to make someone's "best day" even more special is one of my favourite requests to get! I love working with the bride and groom on musical choices that mean the world to them, the logistics of when and where they would like me to play, and that chance of being able to add something special to their dream moment. I get asked to play at a lot of weddings, and that makes me very happy!
